Dr Davies’ Retirement

Dr Gary Davies is retiring from practice on 22/05/2024. We would like to wish him the best for the future. Dr Davies would like to give the below message to his patients.

“Twenty-five years ago, I joined the Partnership at Ivybridge Health Centre as a young somewhat green
gilled GP, full of enthusiasm and ambition to serve the community alongside five other doctors. It is incredible to reflect on how much has changed over the years and how much the Partnership has grown both in size and complexity. It has been a great journey and a privilege to be part of such a great organisation. I have loved being a GP serving the community over the years, however after long and careful consideration I have decided that the time has now come for me to retire from General Practice and pursue other interests. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the community of Ivybridge and surrounding villages for allowing me to be part of their lives and to have had the opportunity to help some amazing people. Once again thank you all for making my time with Beacon so special.

I will miss my colleagues and patients alike.
