We also have new multi-skilled urgent care team to support patients with urgent care issues.
The team offers same-day urgent care appointments – where appropriate following a telephone assessment – for patients with conditions such as respiratory problems, chest or back pains, diabetes and ongoing chronic diseases.
Our clinical pharmacists work closely with the urgent care team and also hold regular routine clinics that offer appointments for patients who need medication reviews and have general medication queries.
A Minor Injuries Unit operates from Ivybridge Medical Practice and is open from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. It is available to all residents – not just those registered with Beacon Medical Group. Members of the public can call 01752 690777 to book a same-day appointment, avoiding any unnecessary waits.
