If you would like your implant or coil removed AND NOT REPLACED WITH ANOTHER ONE, this may be able to be arranged with one of our practice nurses without the need for a triage telephone call.
If you fall into the following categories:
Over the age of 55 years and not on HRT
No longer needing contraception as no longer sexually active, or partner has had a vasectomy
Looking to conceive
Please contact the surgery using the eConsult service and you will be contacted directly for a nurse appointment.
Please note that if you do not fall into the above categories, we will still remove your device, but you will need to speak with a doctor during a telephone triage consultation.
