We are supporting Devon and Cornwall Police, Plymouth City Council and other partners in Plymouth for Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Awareness Month.
Starting on Friday 17 March and, incorporating the national ‘StopCSE’ awareness day on Saturday 18 March, we will be helping people to identify the signs and informing them how they can report it through our social media channels.
CSE is a form of sexual abuse that involves the manipulation and / or coercion of young people under the age of 18 into sexual activity, sometimes in exchange for money, gifts, accommodation, affection or status.
Let’s put a stop to this now. Visit www.stop-cse.org or www.devon-cornwall.police.uk/cseawareness for more information into the signs to look out for and how to make a report. If you see something make sure you say something.
