COVID19 Update 17/03/20
The practice is following the Department of Health guidelines regarding the safe management of Coronavirus. We are cancelling all routine appointments. We will try to contact patients on the same day as your due appointment and deal with all issues over the phone. Please do not attend the surgery.
Please ensure we have an up to date contact number.
Prescription requests can be posted in the boxes outside the surgery, requested online as usual or by ringing the surgery. Please ensure you have nominated a pharmacy to allow us to send your prescription electronically. We are following current prescribing guidelines and will not be allowing additional medication to be ordered.
Stay at home if you have either:
•A high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
•A new, continuous cough- this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.
Testing for coronavirus is not needed if you’re staying at home.
Use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service if:
•You feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home
•Your condition gets worse
•Your symptoms do not get better after 7 days
Only call 111 if you cannot get help online.
Do not contact your GP or healthcare team at this stage – wait to be contacted.

We hope these measures will reduce the risk to yourselves, family and friends without compromising your healthcare.
Thank you for your understanding and co-operation during this difficult time. The safety of our patients and staff is always our primary concern.
